For over 25 years, I have been designing fly reels that combine mechanical precision with thoughtful, functional design. My background in aerospace engineering gives me a strong technical foundation, while my passion for fly fishing shapes the character and purpose of my work.
Each reel begins as a design concept – from initial sketches and proportions to detailed technical drawings and mechanical development. Over the years, I have developed more than thirty original reel models, ranging from traditional click & pawl systems to fully sealed carbon fibre drag designs of my own construction.
For me, a reel is both a precision tool and a carefully considered design object. I aim to create products that are reliable on the water, aesthetically balanced in their form, and worthy of a respected place in any angler’s collection.
